I would not recommend to an absolute beginner.
If you’ve done a couple projects to and are able to complete a project with only the outline/pattern and no instructions then go for it.
I was very unsatisfied with the directions included in this kit. The instruction booklet was a generic guide to embroidery stitches and there was no sheet specifying which stitch to use for each element of the design. There wasn’t a good reference image of the completed project either to help you recreate it, only a color reference.
I probably won’t buy from this seller again. If I’m going to buy a kit then I want instructions for how to recreate that specific design.
Great little gift for my wife. Really cute and she enjoyed it alot.
This is a beautiful little kit and even came with a tea bag so you can have a cuppa whilst you cross stitch! A lovely box that I'm looking forward to stitching!
